Expo Mediterraneo

Expo Mediterraneo is the body that within the system

Confcommercio Catania

organizes events and trade fairs.

Created in 2000 with the aim of promoting various product sectors, Expo Mediterraneo has hosted more than 100 events, including specialized events aimed only at industry professionals and events aimed at the general public and families.

Trade fairs have always been the best way for companies to present their products and latest innovations to their customers, an excellent opportunity to increase visibility and a key business opportunity.

Even though we live in a hyper-connected world, where technology allows us to reach potential buyers around the world without leaving our company, trade fairs offer the opportunity to physically meet customers, to look them in the face, to engage in open conversation, and to shake their hands. These are essential actions to maintain the human aspect of a negotiation.

FAIRS AND SECTORS

Expo Mediterraneo has focused on strategic sectors:

In 2023, Expò Mediterraneo inaugurates MED MOVE, the Mediterranean transport and logistics exhibition, the first and only one in Southern Europe that brings together operators in the mobility, logistics, transport and earthmoving sectors.

At the same time, Garden Day, the fair dedicated to gardening and floriculture, was born. Another showcase for the agri-food supply chain is the Agros Expo project.
But the first bet was made in the fashion sector, when in 1998 Expo Mediterraneo organized the first MEM – moda expo mediterranea, a specialized clothing, underwear and accessories exhibition.
Great attention has been paid to the world of plants and greenery with the creation of Plantarum Aetnae, the Mediterranean floriculture exhibition.
Also bearing the Expo Mediterraneo signature is Fiera d’Estate Village, the historic fair held in the Municipality of Pedara for 27 years, an event dedicated to free time and entertainment that brings the best local crafts and quality typical products to the square.
