Sicily is a natural logistics platform at the center of the Mediterranean, once a strategic and logistical base for trade between Africa, the East, and Europe. The significant supply chain consists of approximately 12,000 road haulage companies, 6,000 passenger transport companies, freight terminals for the storage and relocation of goods, airports at strategic points for the smooth flow of goods and people, and ports, key hubs of economic and commercial exchanges between the island and southern Italy. A driving force of several hundred thousand employees, including salespeople, workers, drivers, entrepreneurs, and businesses that provide services and support for transportation and logistics. There is no other event of this kind or scale in the south that aims to involve all the entrepreneurial and commercial entities of Central and Southern Italy. We chose Catania as our preferred logistics hub, both for the nearby ports of Catania and Augusta and for the Fontanarossa Airport, which will also allow for a significant influx of passengers from all over Southern Italy.
